We have solved,
Nothing!
We are still as bad
And mean, as Ever,
Even as brothers
We betray,
And kill each other.
It’s a bad day,
Only nasty things
To say
But if we look
Back in History,
I suppose,
We’ve always
Been
This rotten way!
Where have love,
Compassion, gone
Oh, Heavens!
Were they dead,
Even before the light
Of rational thought
Was born?
