What better gift
For loneliness, to close.
Softly said in time
Can mean, so much!
God knows,
We’re so alone and lost
In this Valley
Of hypocrisy and deception.
This beloved, ‘Terra Nostra’,
Our dear Earth,
That we so selfishly,
Mistreat and Mutilate,
Thinking that all
Belongs to Us,
Not counting other
Living creatures
And growing things.
For we are,
Selfish and inhuman beings,
Who for centuries
Have cultivated, not eliminated,
Evil’s touch from our souls,
Nor successfully planned
Evil’s well deserved
Discrimination and defeat!
