The big dial measures my work and time
Tells me when is nine, noon or afternoon;
One hour, two hours, hours go
That day, other days, days go
That month, other months, months go
That year, other years, years go;
I become old to my old earth
Try to remember when I took birth,
I count my year
My physique does not bear,
I am about to die
I think of the earth, the sky
I guess a power does come
And call me by my name.
