From seat of influence he dropped to the floor
And he won’t be Galway’s Bishop any more.
I have read how he fled Galway in great shame
That he had stained his character and name
He had sown the seeds that gave life to a son
And i can see no wrong in what’s he’s done.

But he should have taken Annie for his wife
He should have left the clergy years ago
