An honest hard working fellow devoted to his family and his wife
In death he will be remembered as he was admired in life.
Since Paddy Forde left Claramore many years have come and gone
And despite the passing of the Seasons life always does go on
But good people such as he was one never does forget
And fond memories of good people does not die with them in death.
The past is gone forever and never more again
Will he bagpipe with Millstreet Pipers in sunshine or in rain
On days of celebrations through the streets of Millstreet Town
The onlookers applauded as the band played up and down.
In Claramore by Clara hill Paddy Forde did not remain
And a huge loss to Millstreet was Ballincollig’s gain
In Millstreet Town and Parish his was once a familiar face
And in the lives of his friends and family there is none to take his place.
