The Pamban bridge
With a whistle
Entering
And crossing
At Rameswaram
Crossing
The track
Dangerously
It connects
The island
With the mainland,
Rameswaram
A sea bridge
With a broad gauge
On concrete piers
And with the bascule
On the midway
So adventurous
And awesome too in passing over.
Whistling and coming,
Seen far off,
Coming nearer,
The engine
Seen,
Entering
The platform,
A trail of smoke
Arising from,
Coal dust
And aprticles
Flying off,
The shrill whistle
Given
And the train,
Starign to go,
Chugging
On the rails
With stone chips,
Passing,
Whistling
And passing,
Taking to
Its recourse,
Vanishing out,
Speeding
And going,
Going
And passing
Out of sight,
The guard
Waving
A green flag,
I can hear
The sound
Still going,
Taking recourse to,
The men sitting
Into the bogies,
Faces unknown,
Sliding
And gliding by
As the images
With the bogies
Dragged, pulled
Shakingly.

With passengers safety
Long rush
With heavy push
You are hardly comfortable
Find little place after struggle
Still a life line
For poor to be declined
With dose of load
It is still preferred to road
Even though, no facility
Yet life line already
Easy way of transportation
Country’s economy depend between stations
Millions move daily
With no care really
Many board on roof top
Jump it when trains stops
Travel in train
If you want to see heaven
Any time train may derail
Life shall automatically fail
