I didn’t know before that they smell so soft.
Really subtle scent.
In fact, I wanted to rhyme in a poem
But this story about the lily and its subtle scent has slammed all doors shut, so I started writing this short story.
Really short.
Twilight has come and the lights in the house are on.
They are HALOGEN lamps, in Dutch that can also be translated
as HALO-GEEN lamps (=hello-no lamps)
We are now on our way to the third advent week
with the final obligations….
Our house does not yet smell like a pine leaf odor. That’ll come.
I wish all my Poem Hunter friends a blessed Sunday,
as ever
