O, river! My home-side river
You ever
Flow to the sea
Closing eyes even I see,
Sleeping at night
Dreams appear at thought,
Much I forget!
But you are my close friend;
By you I am well
Far from you I am ill,
I am deprived of you
As I am homesick for you;
Even at business my ears hear
What and how you murmur!
How you write poetry!
How you tell story!
People living around you
Are not ungrateful to you,
They hear from you,
They sing for you.
