A sleeping guardian
who opens an eye
with the first rays of dawn
when his teeth can be seen
before resting back again.
He keeps a watchful eye
on the town and bay below.
A guardian of peace
and harmony in North Wales,
a sleeping dragon
better know as the large orme.
