I gave a penny to one of them
Who sat at the end of the row,
Hoping that the alms would bring me good time
And I would make my day
I got and I made
In retaliation of my inability
To provide all of them the same
Together they shouted and called my name
Charging me of being criminally divisive and warn
I am the fit case to be framed under the laws of the land.
I came back and bitterly wept saying
The day would have been better,
Had I not open my hand.
