Stupidity and cruelty,
Lies the Truth,
Bleeding profusely,
Seeking redemption,
Badly wounded, but still,
Tenuously, free.
Poor Truth,
I cry for Thee,
Dear Truth,
So difficult to tell,
So difficult to see
Always manipulated,
Hurt and bruised,
Buried under all kinds,
Of political debris,
Calling for Help!
Drowning in the Sea,
While mercenary armies,
March, fighting against Her
All thru History!
No matter whenNo matter how,Now that you’re goneWill I go on?Or will I be,Like some WhiteSwan,Just die of heartbreak,And be done.
A well framed trapYou wear.You can’t dream awayWhat you’ve become, today.Time does not forgive,Time does not forgetIt does not pay,To stream our dreamsDreams won’t changeThe ThingsThat Time will take away,Anyway,All flows,Nothing stays.
In minds and hearts,Hoping love,And fertile thinkingWill make us grow,Closer togetherCultivating,Love and feelings,Vocal languageOf the Arts.
For which, You only hold the keyWhen you are writing poetry.
We can just conquer,Change troubling Oceans,Into positive streams.As we get older,We lose our thunder,And sadly realize,That all remains as it seems,There are no miracles whipped by words,That will fulfil the idealist’s dreams,We’re but Fools, trying to fix,The devil’s dirty bag of tricks.
