That Life Is so short,
And not very witty.
We are taken for true fools,
Like baby pictures,
Full of drools.
Hey! ! Ruling Claaasss!
With no brains,
We Are Not,
Middle Ages insane,
Grotesquely ignorant,
We HAVE a sturdy, educated Brain!
That tells us an awful lot,
You cannot fool us endlessly,
Like Monkeys on a Coconut tree,
With your monotonous, lying Rot!
The whole world,Since time immemorial,Whether they like it or not.Poetry’s universalityAnd sentimental tonality,Act as a unifier,A human bond,Among all peoples,All nationsTrue democratization,Of mind and soulMaking us more human,And because it is LoveAnd inspiration,There is no discrimination,No, none at allIts stunning reach,A Celestial Call.
They have Intuition,Far beyond what’s real.
To make it better,To make it fair,Dominion of chieftains,Wear and Tear,The very fabric,Of Human Care.
What I read, askance,Give out complements,Like false peppermint scent,Giving praise, I never meant.Sincerity is not temerity,It’s part of a poet’s heart,Poetry is much too sacred,To lie about it and tear it apart.Be as it may,A critic, I am not,Selfishly, what touches me,Is what, I’ll keep in heart.
The Future, uncertain,The World, a black curtain.
That darkly loomInside lagoons,That sometimes are like hell.We humans cannot face things,Those things we cannot tellThat silently, remain unfreeInside each one’s, inkwell.
