Diplomacy, her forte

I hear language usedIn the public place,In the cinema, TV,Offensive to others and to me,Used at a vertiginous pace,More and more,Gutter language,More arsenic than lace.

To do the very best we can,And not do harm to fellow man.

They’re thereOr they’re Not,That’s what you’veGot,If your lucky,With certain peopleThat unexpected,Click,At first meetingThat can even,Sometimes,Lead to love.

But think before you utterWords that may cause great distress.

Will evil still persist,Will Poetry be criminalized?As being too personalized,By that free, ‘subversive’ twist.
