Hauling high speed of wind with great powers
The monstrous wind blew away trunks of trees,
Thatched houses and weak roofs of pucca houses
Roads of streets were blocked with broken trees
With traces of trucks and trucks of somber leaves
Electric poles and transformers dashed the ground
Like headless victims in an atrocious battle ground
The lives after the day of cyclone felt horrible
People had to live life painful and miserable
Sans electricity, all cell phones were dead
People were cut off from the outside world
Rich people could find a little comfort
As they could avail water, refrigerator and fans
Through generators and powerful inverters
While, the poor people passed day and night
Facing the cruel time with soreness throughout
This was the second mightiest cyclone
After super cyclone 1999, I witnessed here
Pay God not to put us into such mayhem anymore
