Nasty things just seem to flood
The Nation where I live.
I was taught to give,
Not to take away
And thru the lies of those,
Who ‘socially’ want our demise
We are losing shreds of liberty
And Democracy, everyday
If they get their way,
Our liberty will be the price
We all, sadly
Will have to pay.
No other drink as sweet,Nor with such blessed power.
That Life is strange,And Poets even stranger,And that sanity around them,Is always in great danger
For it is bornFrom spontaneous and deepest feelings,And those you can’t transform,Invent or hide.
Oh Canine, dearest and best friend,You show us, more than vividly,That different hearts can easily blend,In special love and harmony.
Creating for the public, Films,Video, Audio, pure delightMiracles in flight,That are a part of their creative spirit,And Artistically, so right.
We Poets need to write,So we may live.
