A well known arboretum that always looks so green
And trees from every continent in plenty to be seen
In Pirianda Garden the butcherbird is in song
And one could sit and listen to him piping all day long
So many different species of beautiful exotic trees
And there is a refreshing coolness in the freshening evening breeze,
Were i a poet of Pirianda Garden a poem I’d surely write
Of the greenery and exotic plants that bloom in the sunlight
Of a place of peace and beauty and so few places of it’s kind
And as near to an Earthly Utopia as one could wish to find
Between Monbulk and Olinda with a character of it’s own
Though it’s pathways are steep to walk on finer than it i have not known.
