ମୋ ପାଇଁ ଜୀବନ ଥିଲା-ଘନ ଅମା ରାତିକଳା କବରୀ ରେମୋ ପ୍ରାଣ ଲଟକିଥିଲା,ଆଖି ରେ ତୁମରଲୁହ ର ଶ୍ରାବଣଅମା ରାତି ଆଣୁଥିଲା-ତମେ ଚାଲିଗଲପାଲଟି ଗଲି ମୁଁବୈଶାଖ ର ପାନ୍ଥଶାଳା ।।

ଛାତି ତଳ ଅକୁହା କଥା କୁତମ ଆଗେ ସବୁ ବଖାଣିବି ।ଦୁହେଁ ଥିଲେ ଏତେ ପାଶେ ପାଶେ,ମିଳିଥିଲା ନିରୋଳା ଲଗନ,ଡାକିଥିଲ ଆତ୍ମୀୟ ସ୍ୱର ରେଲାଗୁଥିଲା ଅଛି ତୁମ ମନ ।କେତେବାର ଭିଡ ଭିତରେ ବି,ମନ କଥା କହି ପାରିଥିଲିଆଜି କିନ୍ତୁ ସମୟ ପାଇ ବିଏ ସୁଯୋଗ ହାତ ଛଡା କଲି।
ଟକ୍ ମକ୍ ଫୁଟୁଥାଏମୋ ଅବ୍ୟକ୍ତତୃଷ୍ଣା ର ସାଗର,ତମେ କିନ୍ତୁ ଛପିଥାଅସାତ ତାଳ ପାଣି ପଙ୍କ ତଳେଜୀବନ ପେଚିକା ପରିଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଅସୁର ର ।।ସେ ପାରି ର ଡାକଭାସି ଆସେଅଧା ରାତି, ଅଧା ଜହ୍ନ,ପାଉଁଶିଆ, କୁହୁଡିଆଶୀତଳ ପବନେ ।।ମରଣ ର ମତୁଆଲା ସ୍ୱରମଧୁଗୀତି, ଭିଜୁଥାଏଜୀବନ କୁଞ୍ଜ ରେଦରଦିଆବଂଶୀ ସ୍ୱନେ ସ୍ୱନେ ।।
