What may be unknown.
Showing up to appear,
Doesn’t connect a thought
Or make feelings clear.
Something said,
May not be understood.
We take for granted,
More than we should!
If more were consistent,
In existing relationships…
There would be less adultery
‘Assumed’ and committed.
With more tighter unions,
With fewer quicker to split!
Instead of those who choose,
To do as they see fit!
Many live lifes of fantasy,
With falsities they can hunt and prance.
As someone quietly awaits with glazed eyes…
In romances still fueled although gone unenhanced!
Only to find a note that says upon their return:
‘The last time I sat
I gave you the benefit of a doubt!
But today I’ve decided to leave you alone.
You are not around and about!
That flame I carried,
I have now put out!
And though I have made this simple…
I am far from stupid!
Why should I stay,
When you enjoy hearing me shout!
C-ya! ‘
