Each leaving a little bit
of themselves there.
Sometimes if we close our eyes
we can tap into
the essence they left behind,
experiencing their joys
and sadness just by sitting there.
We can also feel their love
and also their loneliness
just by sitting on a wooden bench
where hundreds have sat before.
