The beach submerged in water as the tide rise and rise
And the fury of the angry seas drowns out the sea birds cries.
‘Twould take a foolhardy person to surf in a full tide
For the giant white surf waves at Kilcunda would seem impossible to ride
To try surfing in such waters would seem suicidal more than brave
Unless you have a latent wish for a deep watery grave.
The huge surf waves at Kilcunda rage loud when the tide is full
And crash against the volcanic rocks like an enraged charging bull
And halfway up the cliff face it spews white frothy foam
Out on an angry ocean what human could feel at home?
I don’t see any surfers riding the waves today
And the huge surf waves at Kilcunda are tossing foam and spray
And the beach submerged in water as the tide keeps rolling in
And I a shore bound person don’t envy sea faring men.
