Of our so called self appointed judges by them reputations destroyed
And ignorance is bliss to some people and ignorance breeds conceit and pride.
A local young man a law transgressor though he is not a bad person at all
For drink driving he has lost his driver’s licence a tarnished man though his crime seems small
Compared to the crimes of some others though some see fit to drag him down
Right now ’tis not to his advantage that he is living in a small Town.
Since his name appeared in the local paper about him negative things are said
His good name one might say in tatters one lie about him to another has led
His judge in the Courthouse a fair judge his unfair judges to him live near
It’s some of those that we know and see often are those that we most ought to fear.
The hypocrisy of some that upset me when younger in every small Town is alive and well
A young man for a traffic violation by some has been condemned to hell
When in truth he is not a bad person though he is not the first or he will not be the last
Who must go through his life regretting one minor offence of his past.
