want to invade the solitary of our thoughts,
as all we want is quiet,
to be alone in our world.
We try to close our ears,
blocking out the sounds around,
not relinquishing our privacy to anyone,
but the constant barrage of their words
slowly makes cracks in our silence
and we lose the harmony
in the solitary of our thoughts.

inspires you to write about it,
and then there are days
you just sit and stare
and nothing sparks your imagination.
You look around for something,
anything
to give you a kick-start.
The more you look and stare,
the more your mind goes bare.
You want to shout help from someone,
but no one is around.
You wonder if all your inspiration
has packed its bags and gone.
You feel this restless yearning
that you want to write,
but everything you put down
seems so contrite.
The more you try
the less you get.
Everything you do to stimulate your imagination
doesn’t help a bit,
the more restless you get,
and the more miserable you feel.
They say that hope spring eternal,
I just hope
brings my imagination back.

that is totally out of character,
or say something
that is very irrational
and it makes us look a fool.
You think back and ask yourself,
why did I say that.
I wouldn’t worry about it
as we all do it from time to time.
When it happens to me,
I simply say I was having
a mad five minutes there.
