Born in Clapton on a stormy night,
his father carried him into the garden
so the Great Spirit could see him.
He then asked the Great Spirit
to guide him to a name.
In the distance just as the rooster began to crow
he saw a Wolf and a Womble
having their breakfast of Sugar Puffs.
His father now had his name
Sugar Puff Wombling Wolf the English Apache
and so a legend was born.
He came driving into Deadwood on a frosty day.
He didn’t ride in because he kept falling of his horse.
He pitched his caravan opposite
a one of a young Dodgy Dave,
and then proceeded to try
and pinch the empty collect plate
from Dodgy’s church,
but was dragged off to jail.
However, the Dodgy Vicar took pity on him,
bailing him out with the tune I saw the light.
They’ve been friends ever since, I think.
