No smell of roses,
But!
Lies for All,
No discrimination
Politicians, talk, crawl
With determination
Promising everyone the Moon
When they know very well
There is only One,
Not to be given to anyone,
But
What does it matter
If lies pave the way?
Power is power,
Morals and decency,
Who practices, Those,
Anyway!
They create illusions,Sandwiched in with lies,But it’s always the people,That pay and sacrifice,In bitter conclusion,They aren’t very nice!
For which, You only hold the keyWhen you are writing poetry.
Do lovers cry in Autumn,For fear of losing All?Why is this Season favored,By poets and by song?Is it because they know and feel,That Life will be reborn?Or because they sadly hearLife’s melancholy song?
I cannot believe in Compassion,While Murder is in fashion,And we hate one another,With such morbid Passion.
Although, so often spoken of.Love is constant sacrifice,Not just a mere mirageThat comes and goes,Remember,More love less hateLove is what our souls,Are supposed to be made of.So if in you there is no loveTo give,You have no soul.
Sadder nor CruelerThan to CageThose thatHave Liberty’s Wings!Killing them,By Forbidding thenTo Never againLiberty, sing!
