Their five year old daughter she won’t allow him to see
He should talk to his lawyer instead of telling me
Of his family problems since there is nothing i can
Do or say to be of help to the man
And I’ve got my own problems though not as many as he
And why seek advice from others or look for sympathy
Since they too have their problems perhaps more than mine
Better have a good laugh with a good glass of wine
Since worrying about your problems makes them multiply
For to make one’s self happier at least one can try.
He tells me of his problems but sad am i to say
That i cannot help him out in any way
And though i sympathize with him to him I’ve made it clear
That his ex wife’s side of the story i have yet to hear.
