Secrets you don’t dare,
Air out, publicly.
For even still today,
In 21st ‘liberal’ century,
Prejudice exists and
There’s a certain way,
That changes it resists,
You really never know,
What changes are accepted,
Or by the majority,
Simply rejected
For we are individuals,
And cannot think alike,
Yet we must be tolerant,
And many times accept,
Changes, if not harmful,
That we don’t really like.
They write defending, Her,Loving Her, Unconditionally.Poets cannot stand tyranny,Being, free Souls,They defend the individual’s integrity,And will always condemn, infamy!And that is how it should be,Poets know,You can’t buy Liberty.
Getting there very,Quickly.Years have gone by,You start to loseHope,Everything you thought,Was pure,Turns acid and grey,The masks offThe light,Slim and dim.For some,Life is a certainRoad to Hell,That you regretBeing in.But too late,To even objectThings are whatThey are,And you are just a shadowIn a world scared and dim,Where the chancesOf being happyAre always very slim.
Their two souls had intertwined,With a Love so deep and blindThat they only saw each otherOnly lived for one anotherIn a Love more than sublime,Out of space and out of time.
Trying to decipher them,Is part of how they grow.
Innumerable texts written about it,So how come we haven’t learned yet?How to live honestly, working for what we get.
