To uphold values
And decided
To go ahead
It was their goal
To give call
For freedom
With wisdom
It was felt
And smelt
The real fragrance
At once
The poor in street
Got same urge to greet
And express happiness
With smile on face
But was it realized?
Has it puzzled civilized world?
The answer may be ‘no’
If by sentiments we go
People want no restriction
Democracy needs soft action
Militants want total execution
The system has compulsion
Where does the fault lie?
No one shall try
And no answer shall be found
