No bird is singing now, and if there is,
Be it my loss.

I will be long ere the earliest bird:
So close the windows and not hear the wind,
But see all wind-stirred.

A Line-Storm Song – Poem by Robert Frost
The line-storm clouds fly tattered and swift,The road is forlorn all day,Where a myriad snowy quartz stones lift,And the hoof-prints vanish away. The roadside flowers, too wet for the bee,Expend their bloom in vain.Come over the hills and far with me,And be my love in the rain. The surest thing there is is we are riders,
Through everything presented, land and tideAnd now the very air, of what we ride. What is this talked-of mystery of birthBut being mounted bareback on the earth? We can just see the infant up astride,His small fist buried in the bushy hide. There is our wildest mount- a headless horse. But though it runs unbridled off its course,And all…
