But disgustingly
Increases
Day by day,
Like bitter enemies,
In Gladiator rounds
They hate, fight each other
Like beasts, making but
Furious sounds,
In constant war for
Power!
Thru a long tunnel
That can only take us
And the Country,
Down Down, Down!
But it does not matter
‘Equality’ so they say,
Is what counts,
For themselves, mind you
But for no one else!
So, not as generous
As they make it sound.
And the People,
Yes, the People
Remember them?
Where do they stand?
At the end of the line
Naturally,
It’s always been that way,
No Surprise!
Manipulated, lied to,
Stepped upon, fooled
By Political sharks,
Just hungry for their
VOTES!
And for POWER,
While Democracy lies
Shattered,
By one more failure
