what all mankind seeks
that of peace of mind.
My heart and soul is open
for your message to receive.
The one that brings purity
and peace to set me free
from the burdens that I carry
from dawn to dusk.
Take the blackness
from my heart and mind
and free me thus.
Oh, Lord I beseech you
within my darkest hour
to take away those sins
for which my body wants to devour.
Take away my hurtful thoughts
that spiral in my head.
Take any jealousy
away from my sleep.
Take my soul to your side
and cleanse it with your might.
That I may travel down
the right road
by day and by night.
