In a bright full moon I see his face
Watching o’er this Earthly place.
I watch him smile in the morning sun
A Summer day has just begun
And his anger is the Winter gale
That howls adown the lonely vale.
I hear his mirthful laughter ring
When songbirds sing their songs in Spring
And I feel the sweet warmth of his mouth
When April breeze blow from the south.
I see his pity in a poor child’s face
A reject of the human race
I see his great might in a mountain
And I see his beauty in a fountain.
Some people say that he is dead
Of his great power they hold no dread
But all of these signs are far too clear
And somewhere, someplace God is near.
Without your love what would we do
Oh blessed God we still need you,
I have no doubt that you are there
And something tells me you still care.
